We've been on mission trips, we've done construction projects for our community and around the world. We have enjoyed spiritual retreats and sports outings. We attend concerts, conventions, and some pretty scary places.
Here are a few of our past events; just some pictures, places, and notes.
Niger, Africa 2008 A group of teens and adults traveled to Niger as an evangelistic mission.
Mogart's Beach, Smithfield, VA 2008 A ministry to the children in Smithfield - a Bible day camp with swimming, Bible lessons, crafts, songs and lots of fun!
Bland County, VA 2008 A mission team of youth, families, adults who traveled across the state to serve in this low-income county. We served in the dental clinic, nursing home, local youth events, community building projects.
The Newsome house in Southampton County, VA A house we bought and repaired and used the profits to travel overseas on our mission trips.
Rebuilding a roof, Southampton County, VA A local resident needed a roof on her house. We, with the help of a contractor from our church, rebuilt her roof in 2004.
Visiting the nursing home Windsor, VA Each month we visit the local nursing home and play BINGO with the residents.
