Our challenge:

"If my people, who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

God sees the desperation in our culture. He knows our needs and He's given us a solution for the rescue.

If: the condition

my people: corporately

who are called by My name: the Church

will humble themselves: submit to His Will

and pray: ask for His intercession

and seek my face: desire for His sovereignty

and turn from their wicked ways: confess and repent

then I will hear: God's commitment

I will forgive: His response

and I will heal their land: That's His Promise!

If My People...The momentum has started. God's solution is here. It's time.

Humility...Desperation...
Repentance...Prayer.*

›› Just Some Thoughts

Most of the time, when I write a newsletter article, it's about one specific topic related to our church and its ministry. This article is a little different. There are so many things that are happening right now, that I want to share about them all, but I don't really have space. So, I'm just going to share some "popcorn" thoughts with you about each of these things.

So far this summer we have had four mission teams that have gone out and returned. The total number of people who went on these trips is around 120. Thank you to everyone who sacrificed time and money to share the gospel through these teams.
Many of you have gone on vacation this summer, travelling to many different places. Please, don't forget that even though you may not be here, this ministry still continues. Its financial needs also continue. Please don't forget to send in your tithes and offerings. We were $4,000 ahead of budget before the summer started, and now we are $7,000 behind.
If you have not made plans to attend VBS, please come. In addition to the excellent youth and children's teachers, we have an outstanding adult teacher for the week, John Anderson. Make sure you don’t miss it!
A big thank you goes out to Beverly Bryant who has served for almost a full year longer than she said she would while our church decided whether we can fund a full-time youth and children's minister. Hopefully, we will be able to give Beverly a break soon, since the search team for a new youth minister has been selected.
Finally, thank you to all those who have helped move our food pantry expansion project along. The food pantry has needed the ministry space for quite some time. Hopefully, we will be able to finish by the end of this month.

about Pastor Rob

I grew up in a Christian home that fostered my faith in Christ. At age 7, I made the decision to put my trust in Christ because my godly parents had modeled a Christ-like life for me. I grew in my understanding of God and responded to His call to vocational ministry in 1985. Since that time God has continued to mold and shape me, to lead me to a deeper knowledge of Him and His Word, and He has given me the responsibility and privilege of leading others to do the same.
