Wood Mission Trip, July 2007
Our sister church, Wood Baptist church wanted to reach their community. We partnered with them for a week in July. Together, we taught Bible school for the children and teens. We sponsored a block party on Saturday. We worked a few construction and painting projects around the church.
Tucker Swamp Baptist church was blessed by the passion of the Wood church members for their community. We came back to our own community full of energy and excitement. We want to impact our own backyard like we did in partnership with our friends in North Carolina.
We would like to return to Wood next summer. Will we? If that's where God leads us. What is so exciting is that we wait on God's direction. Who knows where we will minister next summer!
