Mississippi Missions
We have traveled to Mississippi three times so far to support the reconstruction of towns affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Our first trip was with the teams that provided meals and disaster relief. We sent trained teams to provide chain saw service to homeowners who had trees down in their yards. Below is a powerpoint slideshow of our work there.
Our second trip took us to Waveland/Bay St. Louis on January 25th of 2008. Here is scenes that we encountered upon arriving:
On February 18th we traveled once again to Mississippi. We assisted other teams in rebuilding homes that have not had the opportunity to receive help.
