Pastor Rob completes his sermon series entitled, "The Bible's Ten Most Important Questions" this week. This final sermon focuses on the dryness of life. Using the scripture passage in Ezekiel that describes the human bones left in the desert to wither away, Pastor Rob teaches us about spiritual dryness. He uses testimonies and God's Word to share what we should do when we feel spiritually bereft. How do we become spiritually 'alive' again? We must:
- Misunderstanding Who God Is
- listen to the Word of the Lord
- return from 'exile' (repent)
- attach (or re-attach) ourselves to the Body of Christ (the church)
- allow God's Spirit to fill us

What does Communion mean to a born-again Christian? What must a man do before he is ready to partake of the Lord's Supper? As Pastor Rob shares from 1 Corinthians, chapter 11, he will teach us the commands from God's Word to:
- remember that God sacrificed His Son for us
- lay aside our differences with our brothers and sisters
- examine ourselves to find our sin and disobedience

Today we were blessed to hear about a new church plant in Suffolk. Reverend Steve Hills shared his vision as an SBCV church planter beginning a new church. Using scripture 2 Corinthians 5: 15-21 to teach about the ministry of spiritual reconciliation, Reverend Hills encouraged us all to be concerned about the lost. If you would like to learn more about Rev. Hills' work and "musings" visit his blogsite: here. The church plant is also located on facebook at Prospective Church.

When someone says they "loves" something or someone, does it mean the same as when someone says they "love" pizza? No, probably not. The Greeks had four different words for the word 'love.' They each had a different meaning. When Jesus asked Peter, a disciple, "Peter, do you love me?" he was asking him, "Peter, do you love me deeply with a devoted love?" Do we love Jesus with that kind of love?

Jesus asked a man who had been crippled for 38 years this question: "Do you want to be made well?" You would think that asking that question to a man who had been unable to walk for most of his life would be a silly, if not, stupid, question. But Jesus was asking more than just a silly question. He was asking the man, "Are you willing to do what it takes to be made whole?" That's a different question. Interestingly enough, Jesus asks us this same question. Jesus isn't just concerned about our physical health, but also our spiritual, mental and emotional health. And he asks each of us, "Are you willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to become healthy in all ways? Are you tired of carrying a burden? Do you really want to be made whole?

"Who Do You Say That I Am?" This was a question that Jesus asked his followers. This is the question that He asks us today? Who is he to you? Is he a:
Jesus demands an answer from us all. He also gives us a promise, that when we confess that Jesus is the Son of God, then God will live in us. What a glorious promise to have for each of us!
- lunatic?
- demonic?
- 'good' teacher?
- prophet from God?
- the Savior of the World?

Moses asked God, "Who am I that I should be the one to fulfill Your plan?" That sounds like a question you or I could ask, doesn't it? The question is familiar, but Pastor Rob says that the answer is unique. Only God could explain our place in life, the reason for the gifts He's given us, and His plan for each of us.
Did you know that God's standards are very different from the world's standards? That's why so many unsaved don't understand the Christian life. Listen below as Pastor Rob shares this message or you may download it here .

Where is God when you need Him? Do you trust God to care for you? Do you wait for God to make good on His promises? If you struggle with any of these questions, then perhaps the most important question you have is "Do I Trust God?" Abraham, a patriarch of the Old Testament struggled with this question many times. In Pastor Rob's sermon this week, he shares how Abraham learned to trust God, finally, at the ripe old age of 100. Don't let any more time past before you learn to trust.

Pastor Rob introduces our newest sermon series with a question: "What are the most important questions related to the Bible?" Beginning with Adam and Eve, God asks the most important question to each of us: "Where Are You?" By asking Adam and Eve this question, He posed the challenge to them and to us: where are we in relationship to Him?
